IS THERE A TRUE CHURCH IN THE WORLD TODAY?
Yes. A Christian is not a Christian by way of education. A Christian is not a Christian by way of birth. A Christian is not a Christian by way of membership in a church. A Christian is a Christian by impartation of the Holy Spirit and adoption by God into a mystical body known as the Bride.

True Church...lets meet the Boss!
mammuthus writes:
If Vishnu is the true god and mightiest god of the Hindu pantheon and I die and meet him, it will be up to him to explain why if he created me, he could not convince me of his existence. If the galactic pink unicorn is real, I will offer him some sugar.
And you are tongue in cheek assuming that if any God steps up to the plate and you meet them, you will even have anything of value to offer them! (Him)

Allright, Boss! Please explain.....
Mammuthus writes:
And while these mythical beings are at it, they can explain...
In other words, "Hey! My rational mind has already convinced me that YOU don't exist but in the event that you ARE real, I want to know some things! First, why is this place so imperfect?
God might say:
Imperfection entered this realm through free will disobedience. I will give you another chance, though. Have you ever met my Son?
Hey! It sounds better than the pink unicorn in my book!

Of course you see it as a fantasy! If He appeared to you, you would go to the Doctor to see what caused the hallucination!

Re: True Church.. Who'se the Boss?
Getting back on topic...is the True church..(The Bride) composed of a Holy and blameless people within the camp?(Metaphor similar to early Israelites) Is the camp pure? Are there people in the camp who think about "titties" and beer fridges? (Hey...nobody is perfect)
Or are we talking about the homies chillin OUTSIDE of the camp? (Ones who want nothing to do with being chosen)

I don't think Mammuthus claims to be or wants to be in the camp you're describing.
So you are perhaps suggesting that I am being a bit extremist or zealous? Nay Arrogant?

The Bride does more than be religious!
I used to be into long distance cycling. I started one year riding 5-10 miles and then we saw a video about Ride The Rockies, a 438 mile tour. We went to the meeting and saw that it was full of "old farts" that were over 50. We were under 30 at the time and thought that we would surely dust these guys. So we trained with 80 mile weeks and some hill climbing. At last it was June and time to roll! We started out OK, but we soon found that those "old farts" could literally ride at 10 m.p.h. for 10 hours straight while we blew past them at 15 m.p.h. average and then burned out in 5 hours! Needless to say, this is when I first respected the wisdom of age.
