Re: True Church...lets meet the Boss!
my tail bone and nipples and on and on and on
Since this thread doesn't look on topic to me, anyway, I just have one comment. I'd like to add my complaint about nipples. I've found that anytime I run over six miles, they become just about my major hindrance. I have to bandaid over them, but then, my evolution to a hairless primate is not complete, so the bandaids stick to the hairs on my chest. It's all very annoying. (I suppose one could argue that we weren't meant to wear shirts, but then I need some of that ancient fur back, or I'm going to freeze in winter!)

Re: True Church.. Who'se the Boss?
Is the camp pure? Are there people in the camp who think about "titties" and beer fridges?
I don't think Mammuthus claims to be or wants to be in the camp you're describing.

Re: True Church...lets meet the Boss!
why would you want to run over six miles?...
My wife tells me it's a psycohological defect, possibly from a fall in my youth or something similar.
I watched a video recently called "Running on the Sun" about the 1999 Badwater 135, in which 40 participants raced 135 miles across death valley and up Mt. Whitney in July. Temperatures hit 130 (that's 54.something in Germany, but you knew that), and people threw up, collapsed, hallucinated, etc. My wife and I both got wide eyes at the video. She thought, "Surely this will discourage my husband's foolishness." I thought, "I can do that. I'll bet I can make it a 50th birthday celebration."
It might be a birth defect.
edit: That's my wife and I discussing it in my avatar.

Re: True Church...lets meet the Boss!
The high-tech workout clothes really do help with that kind of thing.
Why thank you. I got my first hi-tech t-shirt, but I ordered it over the internet and overestimated the effect the running was having on my shirt size, so it's too tight. I've worn it under a bigger shirt on cold days, and it does seem to help, but I haven't put it to a good distance test yet.
