This is supposed to stump evolutionists? You're kidding, aren't you? Firstly, evolution is true, and I don't see how this has anything to do with their still being monkeys, since nobody states or supposes that we evolved from monkeys. Secondly, the origin of life has nothing to do with evolution. Thirdly, the three major monotheistic religions all stem frmo the same source...of course they'll have similar creation accounts.
And by the way, in reference to your original question, "If evolution is true why are there still monkeys?", please see the thread 'On being ill-informed.' Questions like that reveal nothing at all except how little you know about evolution.

Any environment in the world, or in space for that matter. First we had the migration from Africa sweeping the globe and replacing or breeding with and improving the indigenous species (depending on which model you follow), now the second great wave is coming from America.
