So what your saying is that the early Christians thought that if people understood the concept of probability and enlightened themselves with knowledge, then they would start thinking about the fantasies that priests were telling them were facts and realize that the whole thing was a sham. So they just made gambling against the religion. This is a very good idea, I wonder if this approach could answer any more rediculus 'laws' that Christians (and other religions) impose on their believer's?
