The Bible is an historical document..The things in it did happen..To reject it is to reject every other ancient literature..
So to accept it is to accept all other ancient literature???
Back near the topic - it's been very interesting over the last thirty years to see how that evil ol' gambling has become more and more 'respectable' as the states here in the US adopt lotteries and such to raise revenue. There were sermons against state lotteries when they started up, but now they seem to be pretty much OK. A very recent proposal to allow casinos here in Texas has a lot of preachers stirred up, though: I guess they think people might donate to them rather than to the collection plate?
