Words like reason and motivation are very simple to use around humans as they help explain impossibly complex neural interactions that most have no hope of understanding. How can you be possibly be so naive to think that they naturally apply elsewhere? How much anger, embaressment, empathy, and love is there in F=ma, for example?You know, a few years ago, I'm fairly sure your posts made some sort of sense.
