Re: Welcome Welcome Welcome
Welcome to the forum!
quote:
I truly believe everybody must make up their own mind and be allowed to believe what they wish. Whether it be Evolution, Intelligent design or even fairies if they want.
Of course.
But then, we can then ask you questions regarding your beliefs.
Such as, if you think Young Earth Creationism is correct, even though the work of hundreds of thousands of scientists in multiple diciplines over several hundred years shows this belief to be contrary to reality, what do you conclude is going on with either the scientists or God?
Is God lying? Have all the scientists been conspiring for decades to deceive the public or are they all just profoundly bad at doing science and are therefore utterly wrong in their conclusions? Why would either God or scientists do this? Why is it that today's scientists can make successfully borne-out predictions based upon the work of scientists from the past if it was all wrong?
These are the sorts of questions I always ask YEC's, and I'd love it if you wanted to start a thread to take a stab at answering them.
