Theory = "explanation"
Fact = "so well confirmed it is assumed to be true"
Law = "a regularity in nature"
As an ulta-short introduction to what those terms mean in science, that's pretty good if I may pat myself on the back.
Read those over again, and think about them...
They are not exclusive categories!
This is pretty much Mod's point, but with a slightly different spin. Maybe it'll help.
