From a literary point of view, the Koran has to be the most tedious book ever written. The Bible, by comparison, is a literary masterpiece.

Sounds like the book might have some inspiration. Personally, I give it mediocre marks on the whole, but do allow for good bits. Even spiritual inspired bits.
