And that's about number of actual generations, not years. both of which are estimates. Molecular clock - Wikipedia we should expect to see similar results for all animals, dating to around 4500 years ago.

Where do you get that five of each Kind were sacrificed? please read. noah and his sons could eat meat. what meat do you think they were eating? not unclean animals (not kosher) because there wouldn't be any left. they had to eat the clean ones.

I have no idea. A large bull could keep them going some time I would think. And crops only take a few months to grow. God wouldn't allow the clean beasts to be depleted. Edited by Faith, : No reason given.

God wouldn't allow the clean beasts to be depleted. he's welcome to poof some more at any point he wants. of course, at a certain point, the ad-hoc-ery of this starts to defeat its believability. and of course, it becomes less and less compatible with science. which, as a wrap up, seems to be the idea. avoid falsifiability at all costs, lest it be falsified.
