Re: Sometime Within 20 Years
If the playing field were leveled for all imo, we'd all be a whole lot more apprised and intelligent.
I see it a whole lot different. If the playing fields were leveled, ID/Creationism would still contribute absolutely nothing to the advancement of science. You know, similar to the last several millenia.
Honestly, I don't understand how it's not prefectly clear. We don't make discoveries in science/technology by using the supernatural.

That is a good description of reality today; Darwin and only Darwin is allowed; the Bible is banned; life in America is ruled by the grim reaper of Darwinism.
You think you are so oppressed but the reality is you just want to force your views on everyone. Our lives would be governed by your beliefs with no room for thinking out of line. You paint a grim picture of a terrible future.
If kids want to learn about religion they can freely go to church. The bible is far from banned and you know it and the classroom is certainly no place for your lunatic ravings. Anyway it would scare the children
So if you really think bringing religion into science would improve our lives, just tell me about all the past inventions/discoveries that were made by inspiration of god.
What does Saudi Arabia, Iran, North Korea, China, Syria and the U.S. Supreme Court all have in common?
They have banned the Bible. The same is excellent proof that Satan rules the kingdoms of this world just like the Bible says.
Then your god is weak.

sheesh
It is a fact that pro-evolution judges have banned a scientific theory that half of all adults in the U.S. accept as true.
Who are these judges?
Comment presupposes false premises. That God is not proven by Science and that Darwinism is responsible for scientific advance.
Now don't go misquoting me. I asked for past inventions/discoveries that were made by inspiration of god. Forget about Darwinism for a minute if that's possible. Just show me these great god given achievements. Either put up or shut up.

Re: Dr. Scott?
Ray, instead of spitting venom at everyone who disagrees with you (which seems to be your trademark btw), why not answer my question when you get back.

It was you that mentioned teaching religion in school would return science to its former glory. If you can demonstrate that is true in the past, maybe you can show how it will be true in the future.

Still waiting

It's been a week since I first asked this, and I've asked several times. Any resident IDers want to take a stab?
I'll tell you why you haven't answered. It's because you know fine that ID will stall human advancement, but that doesn't matter as long as you are running the show with an iron fist. This is pitiful. Think about the lack of achievements from around 500AD to 1500AD because the church had so much influence. As soon as the influence was broken, humanity burst into creative action.
So there's my prediction. Twenty years of ID would bring the USA to a grinding halt in the technological race. We would watch in dismay as the other nations stormed past us while having a good laugh. And all because our kids passed a biology exam with the goddidit answer.

Way to go on not answering the question.
