It's aggadah, not a science textbook.
Notice you don't see Rabbis demanding that Creationism be taught in public schools. Why? Because most know that there's no conflict with the aggadhic tale of Genesis and the order in which science tells us life arose on Earth.

How 'bout we just stop reading the Bible in English and read it in Hebrew instead. Now there's a thought!

Thanks AdminPD! This is perhaps the most difficult forum I've every had to navigate and the discussions are scattered far and wide. It's going to take me a few days to figure this out. Thanks for the links. I proposed a new topic here, I think that's what I did anyway. LOL! So far, I haven't read a post from anyone who shares my approach to this debate.
