Author | Topic: November, 2005, Posts of the Month | |||||||||||||||||||

For November, 2005 (as per previous months):
quote: A link to the message, and perhap a SHORT comment would also be nice. But, this is NOT a place to debate the referenced topic - so be nice. I think that a fairly liberal use of this topic would be a good thing for indexing some nice messages that are otherwise doomed to be lost in the clutter. So, if you encounter a message that seems to say something of special substance, please give it a plug/reference in this topic. New month, same old message and routine.

Forum: Coffee House Thread: The Three Minute SOAPBOX: Post #: 3 The last paragraph:
Omnivorous writes: Why are so many environmentalists and lovers of all creatures secularists? Where are the voices of the faithful? Why is there no chorus rising from the churches to stop the destruction of this gorgeous world? This is in a "please, no reply to messages" themed topic, so don't debate the matter either there or in this POTM topic. But I would love to see that message in a "to be dabated" place. YAY! My first PTOM in over 1300 posts!
I am totaly psyched! I even went back and cleand up a few spelling mistakes. Darn, and I thought my "big fat turd" analogy would have won the PTOM last month

I think if there was an avatar of the month category you would be the first to win. This message has been edited by sidelined, Sat, 2005-11-05 07:28 PM

Nah, I saw his avatar somewhere else.
The ocean breathes salty, won't you carry it in? In your head, in your mouth, in your soul. And maybe we'll get lucky and we'll both grow old. Well I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I hope so.

Then came the day of my first stage appearance,
which I'm often told was very untraditional, 'cause though most babies' first cries lack coherence, mine were: "Good afternoon, I'm a transitional."
