RAZD on the "it's all intepretation and presupposition" fallacy
RAZD in the thread "So Just How is ID's Supernatural-based Science Supposed to Work?": message #50
RAZD seems to have the same basic I answer I give to the claim that the evidence for evolution is just a matter of how one interprets the evidence, but I like the way he expressed it here. I may borrow this one myself.

Re: RAZD on the "it's all intepretation and presupposition" fallacy
(memo to self - sometimes it is the short and sweet answers that get the most traction ... )
And of course the evidence shows that those "alternate presuppositions" ARE used by ID ...
Thanks.

dwise1 on Transitional Evidence
Message 50
He lists all the evidence of similarities and intermediate forms and then summarizes the results:
So Archaeopteryx is 2-27ths bird (7.4%), 17-27ths coelurosaur (63%), and 6-27ths transisitional between the birds and coelurosaurs (22%).
Kind of hard to argue that Archy is not intermediate in form between ceolurosaurs and modern birds ... without ignoring this evidence.
Enjoy. (I did).
