Actually, it was excellent, especially the rhyming of "vexed" and "text." Very original. I just felt like teasing you. This message has been edited by robinrohan, 10-27-2005 03:47 PM

Well, certain people have not had the sense to stop doing OT messages
This is the "Post of the Month" forum. A place for POTM nominations (and seconds?) and thank yous. Everything else is very much off-topic. Adminnemooseus

Re: mark24 and the "missing" fossils
Chiroptera writes: Name: mark24 Forum: Biological Evolution Thread: where was the transition within fossil record?? [Stalled: randman] Post #: 237 *Sigh* Whereas I'm reduced to taunting and insulting randman, mark24 manages to write a well-composed post explaining the fallacies of randman's "missing fossil argument". I'm glad someone is keeping a cool head (although it can't be all that much fun). I've been impressed by this thread in general (well, much of it) and by Mark in particular and especially this post.

Parasomnium, message 1 of the "All species are transitional" topic
Name: Parasomnium Forum: Biological Evolution Thread: All species are transitional Post #: 1 This topic just got mentioned (Thank you, AdminNWR) in a new "Proposed New Topic". Message 1 was almost 3 months ago, but dammit, nobody gave it a POTM nomination. I think this messaage may even be outstanding relative to other POTM's - A gem. Moose

Nominator: minnemooseus Name: Parasomnium Forum: Biological Evolution Thread: All species are transitional Post #: 1 That is a gem by Parasomnium. I missed it first time around. I've seen the point made in passing, but never explicated with such magisterial thoroughness. Moose, you colored outside the time lines! Save lives! Holy damned cow!!! This is one of the most outstanding posts I have ever read, right up there with Silas's best. Thank you, Moose, for digging out this gem, and thank you Parasomnium for a post of stunning clarity. Nominations for POTY anyone? --Percy

Gosh. "Gem", "magisterial thoroughness", "stunning clarity", I wish some people in my non-digital surroundings would start talking about me in those terms... Thank you all very much.
