Where's that :bang head: emoticon when you need it?As for the nuclear shell model, it's pretty much standard physics. It isn't perfect because it's a simplification. With the huge separation of the constituents, atomic shell physics is very precise, but the crampedm nucleus is whole different story...Edited by cavediver, : No reason given.
