How about this, you could physically force the Government [the MPs'/Congressmen] out of the building, because they have physical reality, but you could not force government out of the building simply because it has no physical existence.

Let's go a little further...I have mentioned the four forces that manipulate pure energy to form the things we perceive as having form and structure.So, this pure energy is called Electro-Magnetic Radiation, EMR can be found as the four forces, they are the 'Strong force' the 'Weak force'
the 'Electro-magnetic force' and 'Gravity'By acting upon one another everything in the Universe is formed.Had these four forces not existed then there would be no physical matter at all and there would just be pure energy.Without these forces, everything would have remained in a state of free energy and we would not be here.[This message has been edited by V-Bird, 03-22-2004]

I have read all previous post and am in agreement with SOME of what you have said. The forces that hold reality together are hopefully someday going to be unified and we will know more. As far as a physical reality I can go you one better and tell you that in theory even it does'nt truly exist. You know enough to realize just how far down the rabbit hole QM can take us. *Matrix reference sorry*
I especially like your Govt analogy. It is alot like saying you make me angry...does anger exist? Where is it? can you put this anger in you hand and look at it. No. Words are just that words but we use them to describe our world around us. You say time does not exist and that time travel will never be possible, you may be right humans may never travel approaching @ speed c but in theory It has been discussed a plausible and unless you are privy to some new fancy mathmatics and physics or new evidence to dispute the plausibilty of it you must at least contend that although space/time does not exist as a physical tangible element given the right size conditions and speed things may in theory warp time. The things I see tell me that there will not be a single unified theory, more a pair of twinned theories that will resolve all the problems, this I also feel is in keeping with the way observable things work across all scales, twinning ensures reality comes about.It is in simple terms [to appease the creationists here] as if the words 'Let there be light' were subtly changed to... Can you demonstrate which type of EM-radiation would give rise to the effects of gravity, and also explain why we can not yet detect them as such.

The strong force, the weak force and gravity are not different forms of expression of EMR. The strong force binds the particles of atomic nuclei together. The weak force is responsible for radioactive decay. Gravity is an expression of mass. EMR is photons.--Percy

The strong force binds with energy derived from EMR [the purest form of energy] The weak force is the decay, the 'radiation' is also energy it is derived from EMR. Gravity is mass, mass is formed by the strong force keeping pure energy 'in check', this forms matter, matter is then itself bound by the remaining pure energy that produces gravity.

You are close, but the cigar remains in the box, inviolate.
