1) Voltage != Energy. Energy is in watts - and it can be electricity, heat, kinetic, you name it. Voltage * Current = Energy, in the case of electricity. 2) Does a battery instantly discharge when you stop charging it? No? Neither does the planet Earth lose all of its energy when the sun is no longer shining in a particular face. In the long-term absence of light, it would steadily decay to a lower energy state. Yeahh.....BUT you can ALSO have voltage with NO current ALSO....A low energy state would be next to DEATH. And ANYWAY we are supposed to be talking about NDE'S which I HAD. Wise

BACK to NDE'S. The Admin wants to keep these threads as CLOSE to the topic as possible or somewhere close.
Again, I HAD an NDE. It was real. Anyone else? Wise

No, you believe it was real. There is no reason for anyone else to think it was.

Yes, and Hindus and Sikhs and every other follower of any god in the celestial zoo SAW what they SAW and FELT what they FELT. You totally ignore this fact in your reply, probably because it kills your fantasy stone dead. Their's are FALSE. Mine was REAL. Wise

No, you believe it was real. There is no reason for anyone else to think it was. I know of one other individual who was CLINICALLY dead... I mean D-E-A-D. They had to SHOCK him to bring him back. He said he KNOWS there is an afterlife. He saw his Dad and Grandpa waving at him in the distance. Wise

There are many people who also were clinically dead and had no NDE.There is no doubt you feel these experiences to be true and that is alright but just because you do believe does not make it so.The evidence shows that a better picture is the brain, under these unusual conditions, produces the whole phenomena and since it occurs to you as an individual it will seem to be overwhelmingly true in the same way your day to day life is. There are many instances of how easy it is to fool the brain even when the conditions are not life threatening so we cannot always depend upon subjective perceptions to guide us.

You show us a picture of a man holding a piece of paper and give us no way to follow up the story to see if it was true or not.Hell, we don't even know if he wasa pastor,as though that means he is above personal deception. Follow this up with some decent work would you?

Ok, wise, I know you never read links, but I'll hope against hope....
That man is Daniel Ekechukwu. When you get that flock of flying pigs, sit down with them to read why this is not true (from here). Also, when the sun rises in the west over the icy landscape of hell, you can read the contradictory accounts of this story here. I'll be waiting in the barn to hear what your comments are, since I know you'll read the links when the cows come home. ------------------"Illuminant light, illuminate me." Their's are FALSE. Mine was REAL. I love that Wise can just say things like this with a straight face, like they're true.

But this Pastor would have NO REASON to lie. Wise ------------------

What makes the pastor incapable of lying?

Wise, I think the best way to know that God exists and that there is an afterlife is because that is what He tells us in the Bible.
To others: as someone with at least some background in neuroscience, both clinical and theoretical, I think the best anyone (Christian, non-Christian, or anyone else) can say regarding NDEs is "that is certainly interesting, and voting one way or the other is really just speculation whatever your background or research interests." Anything more would seem to be speaking out of turn.
