TO Brian:If you want to read more recent conservative archaeology scholarship you should read Kitchen's book which just came out that I cited above. It may tell you some things you might not have been exposed to yet. My Hittite/Lion find that was recognized by the Israel Museum in Jerusalem plus my Wycliffe citations shows that you certainly could benefit being more diligent in seeking more conservative scholarship.
