This is in no way a judgement of your qualifications to be a moderator. We really have little to judge. I think we need to have you around and taking part in the forum longer, before even considering the possibility. But I certainly appreciate the offer. Especially depending on how many forums involved, I think a moderator position could involve as little or as much time as your willing to put into it.

No. It isn't that. The guy is supposed to be decently famous in Germany-- a sports hero as well as being gin-u-wine royalty and fabulously rich. Hi John..sorry for being sarcastic...I try not to get confused with the Germans..I'm not that uptight yet ...glad my wife did not read this In what sport is he famous? There is a tendency in the media to greatly exaggerate the merits of minor sports figures and celebrities in Germany so it is hard for me to tell who is actually well known or who was a flash in the pan...

Track and field of some variety-- I can't remember what exactly. I believe he made it to the Olympics and brought home a medal twenty something years ago. He went on to coach women's voleyball, I think, and made it to the Olympics several times in that capacity. I'll ask around this weekend...keep in mind however, that rock stars in Germany include David Hasselhof so people here tend to get excited by things that make you scratch your head in wonder.....however, the beer is great ...considering it is Friday I think I will gather some empirical evidence for that assertion i just made...

Havent you noticed? All threads follow this principle Spanisch is viel einfacher...obwohl, ich habe es als kind gelernt und ich bin 30 gewessen wenn ich fang mit Deutsch an. Ein bekannter von mir hat versucht Russisch zu lernen aber er hat gesagt das es extrem schwerig ist...ich kenne nur die wichtige worte wie Vodka Ich mochte Italienisch lernen aber habe keine Zeit
