He could give an explanation of why evolution appears (to many of us who look deeper into cause/effect) so slam dunk correct. GOD's laughing because HE knows evolution is what happened. And I think he is also enjoying our working out how things work. Odds are HE's giving us at least a B+ over the last couple hundred years but I bet he had real doubts before that. After all, almost every, no, in fact every, major Christian Faith has come out in support of teaching Evolution and not teaching creationism. Aslan is not a Tame Lion

Mike.
My first reply is an advertising jingle for a brand of meat products available in the US.
You can learn more here I have problems, if we needed to go back to the trees, we couldn't evolve in time to survive could we? We'll, it's likely true that we would not survive. That's the underlying story of Evolution. But... there is the possiblility that some humans might have a random mutation that makes them better climbers than the majority of humans. Those humans that have that random mutation will have a better chance of surviving long enough to reproduce than those that don't have the mutation. So the majority of humans die off, a few survive. Gradually, over time, some of their children will through random mutation be even better adapted to life in the trees. And eventually, over long periods of time we may well evolve into tree dwellers. Then we will debate if we could possibly be descendants of humans. Evolution has no direction. There is nothing special about humans. Aslan is not a Tame Lion

now, where are peter's letters, Over here It's always been interesting to me because the Gospel of Peter was probably compiled about the same time as Paul's epistles. That's to be expected since they were two of the major driving forces of the early church. In fact, Thomas, Peter, James, Mary and Paul could be said to be THE Founders of Christianity. Yet the writings of Peter, Thomas, James and Mary all seemed to get purged when the Roman Church became ascendant with the rise in power of the church under Emperor Constantine. I think it is more interesting than just Peter.
Why were the other major creators of Christianity purged? Aslan is not a Tame Lion

My goal is not to argue the invalidity of scientific method, I am just trying to show that scientists have put their undying trust in their scientific method, but the method itself is not based on some absolutely unblemished process. If you are honest, you can admit that science has a failure rate just like anything. Of course science has a failure rate. If it did not then it would never advance or have any success. That is the great strength of Science and why in real life it will always lead to more success than religion. And trust is certainly not needed when it comes to science. In fact the scientific method is designed to write trust out of the system The whole purpose and advantage to the scientific method over belief is the absence of trust. An individuals experience is not an issue. It carries no weight or value. Only if it can be replicated or confirmed is it of any value. Aslan is not a Tame Lion

Because Macro-evolution is simply the accumulation of micro-evolution. It is only the figment of Creationist minds.
Macro-evolution happens all the time, has happened since the beginning and will continue to happen. In fact, it is very likely that over the next couple mellenia we will see a new species of human evolve. Aslan is not a Tame Lion

I doubt it as long as you understand the difference in point of view and subject. For example, I am a Creationist who fully supports Evolution and the TOE. No one has challenged my beliefs here except some who believe in Biblical Creationism.
If you present something as science, then it will be judged and treated as any other scientific hypothesis. If you present a statement of your beliefs, some make ask you why you hold such beliefs but I doubt they would argue them. Aslan is not a Tame Lion

Nosy, Someone has got to step into this place every now and again and try to wake you guys up. God says you are without excuse. He uses sinful losers like me to sufficiently remind you that He is out their calling for you to recognize His omnipotence. Good GOD. What an ass! No wonder you are only a creationist.
