when you right a verse from the bible like Hebrews 2:9 please use the colon it looks like chapter 2 through chapter 9 but this is a good point I can't argue with what it says but I have been raised the same that Jesus is divine, I think it has more to do with "the one who knew no sin became sin for us" almost like the story of hercules(in this case Jesus) who became mortal(or human/sin) to marry a mortal(human/sinner) wife(the curch)

God becoming human would be like you or I becoming a dog.

Jesus' love isn't unconditional though, if it was we would all go to heaven and live happily ever after. However, we have to accept all sorts of illogical, irrational myths before He will let us in to His club. I think His sacrifice was to clear His conscience. Yahweh is a particularly thick and ignorant god, it took Him a few thousand years to realise just how stupid He had been placing the tree right next to the only humans in the world.Just like when he slaughtered millions of innocent people during the Flood, then regretted it, He realised just how stupid He was over this sin nonsense and thought up a way to atone for His sins. But just like the original sin and the Flood ideas He had thought up, the sacrifice of himself to himself for something He had done is equally as infantile.Sorry, but you are worshipping the most retarded god in the celestial pantheon.

I can. He can quit worry about that sin nonsense and actually love us and accept us for who we are just like any decent parent loves and accepts her children even when they take a different path in life than she originally had hoped for.

it is but thats the same mindset that brought it doubt of God does a parent not punish their children according to what they do

he does accept us but he wants us to be the best we can be just like a loving parent if we sin aka do something wrong he punishes us is that not what your parents did when you were bad

Sorry, I assumed that you were a traditional evangelical Christian and believed that those who are not saved will spend eternity burning in Hell, which, as you seem to acknowledge, would make God very unloving indeed.But since you seem to believe that a loving God simply punishes everyone by giving them a "time out" before he accepts them all back into his home, then I guess we have nothing further to discuss.

haha I love the sarcasim he does send you to hell but you refusing his sacrifice is alot different then stealing a cookie from the cookie jar there is only one unforgiven sin that would be not accepting him because if to you he never exsited than why would it matter him having mercy would be like an imaginary friend having mercy if you never believed in him
