what's the deal with these tests right now? first, political dispostion, now religious. if someone pulls out a list for determining if you're american or whatever, I'll scream. maybe.
or I'll just let it be. let me get back to you all if and when this happens.
abe: and I don't think this is accurate for me. a godd chunk of those questions I didn't know who to answer, much less the relevance. I'm really quite happy to let everyone do thier thing until they decide to screw with science or government. or trample over my rights. yeah . . .

(you know, abe's like this (and the one above) deserve to be at the bottom, not inserted into other paragraphs. damn laptop mousepads)

I think things like this are actually important, if for no other reason then to get folk to say "that's not me" or "I don't agree with THEM™".
Maybe with a list like this someone might next stop and actually look at Neo-Pagan or Hinduism or Mahayana Buddism or ask "What is the difference between Theravada and Mahayana Buddism?"

Gee, talk about results being obvious for anyone who's ever read any of my posts on this forum:
0. Utterly apathetic (110%)
1. Secular Humanism (100%)
2. Unitarian Universalism (98%)
3. Nontheist (86%)
4. Liberal Quakers (79%)
5. Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestants (75%)
6. Theravada Buddhism (67%)
7. Neo-Pagan (60%)
Everything else was below 50%. Curious as to why UU was above nontheist, considering I'm about as far from deist/theist as you can get and still be on the same planet. Wonder which question tripped that answer?

Seems like the thing's rigged somehow. I might have given two answers more applicable to UU than SH, and those were in the area of Contemporary Issues, not questions of faith.
For what it's worth, I was raised Whiskeypalian, which is considered to be among "Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestant."

I answered "None of the above" or "Not applicable" to everything.
1. Bahá'í Faith (100%)
2. Christian Science (Church of Christ, Scientist) (100%)
3. Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormons) (100%)
4. Jehovah's Witness (100%)

I wonder what the Conservative Christians will think of the company they're keeping.

from what I understand, UU's don't really care about what you believe, 'cause it doesn't matter.
I think it's more about accepting others as they are?
I think this is the case becuase you've got UU's who belief in the trinity all the way to nontheistic UU's to polytheistic UU's.
yeah, a little off-kilter.

Zealous apathy?
I have a mandate to proselytize and witness apathy on religious issues. Convert! Or, well, maybe get another beer.

Maybe that's what it stemmed from. For some reason I thought the UU's were basically deist. What do I know?
