Hello Tangle. You said:
Science adjusts it's views based on what's observed. Faith is the denial of observation, so that belief can be preserved. This is simply an evolution vs. creation issue. Theobservable science actually supports creation. Evolution does nothing for science, and sciencedoes nothing for evolution. It is observable science (since recorded history) thatan animal will have offsprings of the same kind. The same goes for humans. Human mothers will always have human babies. Professors cannot give an observable example whereone animal evolved (macro) into an entirely different kind of animal. You are free to believe in your fairy tale, if you wish, butthat is called blind faith, not science.

Hello Tangle. You asked:
Explain why a god (God) that loves you will also torture you. There is no burning in hell (Gehenna) for eternity. The Bible does teach eternal punishment, but not eternal punishing. There is a huge different. Our only two options are diametrically opposed toeach other. One is eternal life; the other is death. Those now dead know absolutely nothing. Theypossess no knowledge, wisdom, nor awareness. Those who suffer the second death will be awareof nothing for eternity.

Professors who preach that evolution is a fact
should put up or shut up. Observable science supports creation. Animals andhumans produce their own kind.

There is no fossil record. There is just piles of
bones that were deposited in great heaps by a global flood. Also, "gradual evolution" is not observable. "Kind" of animal reproducing the same "kind"is observable--again, again, and again. This is exactly what I expect. After all, Godstated matter-of-fact that kind would produce the same kind. He was right.

Paul, you can say it over and over again, but it doesn't
make it true. The fossils do not support evolution. Fossils are piles of bones that were deposited in greatheaps by a global flood. Let me tell you a little secret: fossils do not comeWith tags on them, stating how old they are. A worldwide flood would sort many of the fossils intosize and density before depositing them. In any event, the bottom layer would contain fish fossils.Above these would be amphibians, then reptiles (Including dinosaurs). Above these would be birds and mammals, including humans. This last group would be on the highest ground;Thereby, assuring that they would be last to die. And, less likely to be covered by sediment, which would leave minimal fossils. Fossils are open to interpretation. ObservableScience (kind of animal reproducing the same Kind of animal for all of recorded history) is not. We have now observed that many dinosaurfossils have significant amounts of C-14 in them. Being generous to a fault, C-14 should be undetectable after 100,000 years. Instead of changing their beliefs to fit the facts, evolutionists insist that iron is responsible for the C-14 amounts, even after 75,000,000 years. Evolution is faith-based, and a really weird oneat that.

I know how carbon dating works.
Isn't it amazing that evolutionists try toconvince us of what happened tens of millions of years ago, and they get offended when we aren't gullible enough To believe them. If I can observe something, such as "kind"reproducing the same "kind," then I can accept that. BUT, if I am being asked to believe thatvariations in a "kind" can over long periods of time turn one "kind" into a totally different "kind," I won't do it. Darwin observed finches with different sizebeaks, and like an idiot, jumped to the conclusion that this, in a way, proved evolution. How long do you think I would have to waitfor my 24 speed mountain bike to evolve into a Harley?

Bicycles have as much of a chance of reproducing
as a human mother has of giving birth to a crow. In any event, couldn't a bicycle evolve into aHarley if we allowed it tens of millions of years to do so?

I'm not making excuses for God. He needs no excuse.
If you do not wish to be given eternal life, then so be it

Dwise 1.
You have a rather long post, and I have a small cellphone. I would prefer you to make much smaller post if possible, even if it requires a greater number of posts. Isolation leads to a loss of information; thisis not evolution. You still make the assertion that minute changesover millions of years will create a different "kind" than the parent "kind." This is not provable. In fact, it is impossible toprove this. It is not observable. And, it takes an enormous amount of faith to do believe this. All evolutionists believe in the same fairly tale. It begins like this: "long ago and far away."

C-14 decays into N-14.
The half life of C-14 is roughly 5700and some-odd years. This is why I stated that after 100,000years (probably closer to 50,000) no C-14 is detectable in fossils. The soil has nothing to do with this. It is ludicrous to believe that significantamounts of C-14 is still present in 75,000,000 year old fossils, regardless of the soil or the presence of iron in the soil.

Ringo, you call believing in God a fantasy. Yet, God
commands those who truly seek Him to prove everything. Blind faith is worthless. The Bible contains many prophecies; some havealready been fulfilled, others will soon be fulfilled. There are more than 50 specific OT propheciesabout Jesus that have been fulfilled in the NT. Some Biblical scholars insist that the actual number is better than 300. For the sake of brevity, I will mention just eight. A mathematician friend at Murray State (he teachesProbabilities and Statistics) says that the probability of just eight prophecies being fulfilled is 10 followed By 17 zeroes. I will cite the OT prophecy, followed by NT fulfillment. Isaiah 7:14 born of a virgin Luke 1:35.Micah 5:2 born in Bethlehem Matthew 2:4-6. Psalms 78:1-2 teach in parables Matthew 13:34-35. Isaiah 9:1-7 begins ministry in Galilee Matthew 4:12-17. Isaiah 40:3-4 Christ preceeded by forerunner (John the Baptist). John 1:23. Isaiah 53:3 despised and rejected Luke 4:28-29. Zechariah 11:12-13 betrayed for 30 pieces of silver Matthew 27:6-10. Psalms 22:6 hands and feet pierced John 19:36-37. My church was aware from 1951 that East and WestGermany would reunite. I realized this in the early 1980's. Without a clear understanding of prophecy, I never would have thought that the Soviet Union would have freed East Germany. We knew beyond a doubt that Britain would withdrawfrom the EU. We also know that the EU will slim down to just 10 nations (married in a sense to a powerful universal church). To know what is in store for certain nations today, itis paramount that we identify who they were in Biblical times.

Dwise, the professor at Murray State based his
calculation on the eight predictions being correct. To correctly predict these eight distinct events inone's life, and to do so hundreds of years in advance, is so difficult that the chances of being correct on all eight account is 10 to the 17th power. There is no mistake that the NT records the fulfillmentof these prophecies. You might not believe that these prophecies werefulfilled, or that they were even made. But, what you believe has nothing to do with the probability of them being fulfilled. Most people, including Christians, believe that allIsraelites are Jews. And many have lost faith in prophecies about Israel because they know this small country in the Middle East cannot fulfill all the prophecies about it. Understand this: all Jews are Israelites, but mostIsraelites are not Jews. Jews are descendants of Judah. Although thetribe of Benjamin was later incorporated. The Jews was promised that the scepter would notdepart from them. Joseph's two sons Ephraim and Manasseh received the birthright blessings as well as the name Israel. The last days prophecies for all tribes is in Genesis49 and Deuteronomy 33. The first place in the Bible where the Word Jew isused is in 2Kings 16:5-7. The Jews are in a war against both Syria and Israel. The 10 tribes of the Northern Kingdom of Israel wereconquered by the Assyrians in 718 BC. The Southern of Judah was conquered by Babylon in 586 BC. A careful study of history shows that the Germans(Deutchlanders) are present day Assyria. As far as evolution goes, I was only getting assumptionsfrom people who insisted it was a fact. I was debating with people who considered worms andwarthogs as distant family. How can they even trust their minds/thoughts, whichare nothing more than mutations.

Coffee, the Bible tells us when the end of this present
age will come. Matthew 24:14 ..."and this gospel (good news) of theKingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come." The vast majority of Christian denominations say thatthe gospel is being preached unto all the world right now, but this is not true. What is being taught is a gospel about Jesus, about Hislife. Only a small fraction actually teaches the gospel that Jesus Himself taught from the very beginning of His ministry. Mark 1:14 ..."Jesus came into Galilee preaching theGospel (good news) of the Kingdom of God. The coming Kingdom of God was the great news thatChrist gave to us. A Kingdom requires a ruler; subjects; territory; and laws. Daniel 2:14 "and in the days of these kings (10 nationsruled over by the beast and false prophet) shall the God of heaven set up a Kingdom that shall never be destroyed, and the Kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever." This is a future event. The Kingdom has not yet beenestablished, nor has the good news of its coming been preached unto the entire world. The two witnesses in Revelation 11 will for three andone half years proclaim the good news of the coming Kingdom to the entire world for a witness. The world will not believe the two witnesses. They willinstead place their faith firmly in the human leader (the beast) and false prophet (spiritual leader). There are other signs that must be fulfilled before thetwo witnesses appear on the world scene, but this is the final sign.

Sorry to take so long to reply, Ringo.
It is extremely important to also add verse 33 whenwe interpret exactly who "this generation" is. 33: "So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the door." 34: "Truly I say unto you, this generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled." Read the entire chapter. It is an end-time prophecy. At the time when this prophecy takes place technologicaladvances will be such that we could kill everyone on the face of the earth. Read verse 22. It is at the end of this "present age," when Jesus willreplace Satan as ruler of the earth. Jesus will at that time set up His Kingdom. However, when the great tribulation (which is Satan'swrath) and associated events begin some alive at its beginning will still be alive at its end. End time events would not carry on indefinitely. That generation would see see the arrival of thespecific three and one half period that marks the end of this present evil age. Notice Revelation 11. The two witnesses lie dead inthe street for three and a half days. Yet the entire world sees them. The deceived population will send each other presents to commemorate their deaths. Only after the invent of satellite and media could theworld know that they were even dead. The central theme of the entire Bible is that of thecoming Kingdom of God. The Kingdom of God is the means by which God begins to save humanity.
