Likely there's some pretty convincing stuff going to show up in these museums which has yet not been seen by the public because the secularist museums tended to reject that evidence for their museums.
And you have proof of this vast secularist conspiracy? Edited by DrJones*, : No reason given. Just a monkey in a long line of kings. If "elitist" just means "not the dumbest motherfucker in the room", I'll be an elitist! *not an actual doctor

Likely what we have already is more authentic than secularists want to admit
And what is your background in geology/anthropology/palaeontology? Other than your mythology of choice what reason do you have to state this? Just a monkey in a long line of kings. If "elitist" just means "not the dumbest motherfucker in the room", I'll be an elitist! *not an actual doctor

Why would I think something that does not exist is great?
I dunno, you seem to think the fairy tale promoted by this "museum" is great, what's wrong with telling the FSM's side of the story?
After all, how much science is in the pre big bang stories?
More than none, which is what you'll find in this "museum"
Illness can be caused by evil spirits.
Right and there's a old white guy in the sky watching our every move too. Just a monkey in a long line of kings. If "elitist" just means "not the dumbest motherfucker in the room", I'll be an elitist! *not an actual doctor

Without God, there can be no defense
Which god? Allah? Vishnu? Odin the Allfather?
So, why not let the creation of the bible be taught, even with imperfect science, rather than shunned, with imperfect science!?
Because it's a religion? Why teach religion in a science class? And while we're teaching the lies ofchristiantiy do you also want to set aside time for the Turth of Odin?
After all, the creation museum does better reflect the majority opinion in the US.
Well the majority is often wrong. It was once the majority opinion in the US that blacks weren't people.
As for degrading, and humiliating, nothing is more so than the philosphy and world view that claims man is just an animal
As opposed to the worldview that we're the playthings/slaves of a power mad diety? Just a monkey in a long line of kings. If "elitist" just means "not the dumbest motherfucker in the room", I'll be an elitist! *not an actual doctor

You have an opinion. Perhaps you even think it is important. You could not begin to prove that. So I laugh at the claim
How does any of this address my post? Just a monkey in a long line of kings. If "elitist" just means "not the dumbest motherfucker in the room", I'll be an elitist! *not an actual doctor

I can't spoon feed you here
I'm not asking you to, just answering my question would be adequate. I'll repeat it for you:
Why would I think something that does not exist is great? I dunno, you seem to think the fairy tale promoted by this "museum" is great, what's wrong with telling the FSM's side of the story? Jesus
Was a false prophet, I thought we were talking about God here.
I don't know, why teach religion in a science class??
You tell me, that's what the christian cult of ignorance TM Jar is trying to do.
At least a step towards being honest about what it is they are teaching, which is belief based, rather than pretending it is science.
Care to come over to one of the science threads and showing how what is being taught is belief based and not reliant on the evidence? Just a monkey in a long line of kings. If "elitist" just means "not the dumbest motherfucker in the room", I'll be an elitist! *not an actual doctor

I can do that here. How about it?
Well it's not on topic here. And also in the science threads participants are expected to debate the evidence and provide support for their position so they can't just go "nuh uh the earth is young cause the bible says so". I suggest starting at RAZD's Message 1 Just a monkey in a long line of kings. If "elitist" just means "not the dumbest motherfucker in the room", I'll be an elitist! *not an actual doctor

Are you claiming that the science threads are based on evidence? If so, what parts of the evidence? All of it, or just the narrow, piddly little cultish bits of fleshly stuff they chose there??
come on over and find out. Just a monkey in a long line of kings. If "elitist" just means "not the dumbest motherfucker in the room", I'll be an elitist! *not an actual doctor

The evidence for what the creation museums teach has not been discussed here that I have seen
then bring the evidence in, you expect us to do your homework for you? Read RAZD's thread, (Message 1), and discuss/refute the evidence he has presented with some of your own.
The whole picture has to be discussed or there is no debate, just a 'show trial'!
Then join the debate, staying out of it and lobbing tomatoes isn't doing your side any good. As for the topic of this thread: Living in Alberta I've seen many letters to the editor of my local paper about this "museum". All the creationism supporters have are the same old debunked arguements and reccomend spokespeople/hucksters like convicted tax cheat Kent Hovind. Edited by DrJones*, : No reason given. The evidence is more than the confines of the science threads on this forum allow
Any scientific evidence is allowed in the science threads, bring it over and let it stand on its merits.
Besides, this thread apparently has to keep a narrow focus, about museums
Which is why I have linked to RAZD's Message 1 thrice now. Just a monkey in a long line of kings. If "elitist" just means "not the dumbest motherfucker in the room", I'll be an elitist! *not an actual doctor
