Wouldn't this be 'an infinite regression of causes?' it is not quite clear what issue the initial post is after. Forgive me for sounding like a simpleton, but could you throw out a bone(one line question) with a question mark attached to it?

We have evidence to support that the universe had a point of origin. Wouldn't that qualify as a beginning?As for matter itself, we have very little capacity to analyze it at this point so it would be premature to try and draw conclusions as to whether or not it supports the concept of creation.I'm guessing that it will though

Again, I'm not trying to give you a hard time, but I thought it was interesting that some would contest that the information given here is not accurate or honest.Personally, despite my own fascination with science and evolution, this stuff is beyond my own understanding.
