Re: If God is God
If 'God' would not do it that way, how do you explain the vast amount of evidence for evolution, vs the vast amount of evidence against YEC?
Why are you limiting God on how she/he/it would do things?

Re: If God is God
so you know the mind of god then? can you really claim to know what god would and would not do? how do you know god wouldn't use evolution to do things? oh i know from a book! remember the bible is not god so claiming what is in the bible maybe wrong
as i have said before why do we need some mystical reason to exist? whats wrong with making our own reasons?

Your question makes no sense.
How God would do something is all there is, right?

Use Capitalization
It isn't about the Bible, it's about me and God, and it should be apparent, from what you have experienced, you and God.

Re: If God is God
A similar question could be asked of you, why are you limiting God to the physical world?

Re: If God is God
Yes, the same thing can be said of me.. but when it comes to seeing how things are done, I am limited to the physical world, and all the evidence I see is of the physical world. The evidence shows that things happened litterally as the bible says is wrong.
That leaves me (being a logical person), with several options.
1) The bible is not literal
2) God is a 'deceiver' God that made things LOOK old.
or
3) There is no god.

Paging CP
Whats new in your struggle with Death? I hope you are in a positive mood about school, your future, and the future of humanity in general!

Gradually it was disclosed to me that the line separating good and evil passes not through states, nor between classes, nor between political parties either, but right through every human heart, and through all human hearts. This line shifts. Inside us, it oscillates with the years. Even within hearts overwhelmed by evil, one small bridgehead of good is retained; and even in the best of all hearts, there remains a small corner of evil. --Alexander Solzhenitsyn, The Gulag Archipelago

Paging CSPjr
Ditto to the above note to your brother!
Hows the Banjo coming along? There is no surer cure to the struggle with Death than to embrace the Spirit of life, shining through us in all its expression by way of our literary skilz and our music!
The Transcendants may have not worked out totally, but Im quite sure that persistance will pay off as you and CP practice expressing yourselves verbally AND especially musically!

Re: Paging CP
Did Mt. Washington and the magnificent view help you to gain the inner strength to defy death for a few more years?
Do you think that God works through communion with nature, or am I getting too Pagan? (or New Agey?)
