Now you do ,they answer you honestly because you actually pay attention to them and the worries and questions that they have {which are similar to your own}and you are amazed that you can understand that you have common ground with them? How is this miraculous and not merely you finally finding the courage to ask penetrating questions about people.I have done this quite often and yes people sometimes have said as much to me about this but it is certainly not because of something other than people needing someone to listen.We do not gain leadership so much as people give it to us.
