I hadn't realized the Pope's influence, in today's day and age. I thought long ago the pope was silenced. But he was a strong world leader, although popes lack of power, they have a lot of influence on culture especially in Rome. And this is shown through the full day's worth of coverage here in the US.
I am still really interested in the Vatican's stash of books and stuff, if anyone know anything email me, or just write a post.

Nah, I think after the spanish inquisition they calmed down. But I'm talking ancient texts, and the necro-book, or whatever. I would be more worried about the United States destroying cultures. Check the Iraq issues.
