Syamsu, Evolutionary Psychology is not, as you seem to be implying, a form of clinical Psychology.
It is a field of research psychology, like developmental or cognitive psychology.
Psychology is a large field; not everyone becomes a counselor.
Clinical psychologists have to have MD degrees as well as PhDs in Psychology.

I don't really know what you are saying here, but you seem to be implying that evolutionary psychology (or really neo-darwinist psychology) is not for personal use of the patient.
Evolutionary Psychology is NOT a clinical field. They do not work with patients at all. Not even a little bit. They are not cousellors or medical doctors. They do not try to help people with their emotional problems on a one-on-one basis.
They do research in labs on how the mind works.
The following is a link to a very informative website which will explain what Evolutionary Psychology is. If you can find anything on that site which says anything about using clinical work I would be very surprised:

Actually, the statement "isn't used personally" is accurate.
