Drones, hey?
What are you, Rambo 50? Apparantly some private security companies in my country started using drones hovering above our suburb to try and get some criminals before they burgle the houses. Sweet.

I don't think it's a bunker mentality. It's a response to reality in a country where there's an average of 50 murders per day. In a country with a population of less than 50 million.
That's around 34 murders per 100 000 people. Compare that to another country with a high murder rate the USA. Around 40 murders a day, out of a population of around 300 million. That's around 5.3 homicides per 100 000 in the US. RSA: 34 homocides /100 000USA: 5.3 homocides /100 000 So, it's not a bunker mentality. It's reality we have to live with and try not to become part of the statistics. Edited by Pressie, : No reason given.

MMFJ2.
So, according to the statistics you, yourself mentioned, the average murder rate in the RSA was 31.00 in 2012. Sure, some areas experience more violent crime than others. In the US, known for a very high crime rate, it was 4.7 per 100 000 in 2012. Sure some areas experience more violent crime than others. Just look at those numbers. The average South African is 6 times more likely to be murdered than the average American. A very good reason to go behind huge walls and electric fences and drones hovering around looking for criminals around the house. Edited by Pressie, : No reason given.

"your nutz"?
Either you think you can see MFFJM2's testicles or you meant "you're nutz". I take it you meant you think MFFJM2 is crazy. To me it seems as if MFFJM2 asked some very important and valid questions to you. Nothing "nutz"' about that. Why don't you just answer the questions? Ater this post of yours it seems as if you're just here to deliver a sermon. Not here to discuss anything.

CS may be many things, but in my books, he's certainly not an idiot. I learned a lot from CS on this thread. Maybe I'm the idiot without realising it?
Please note that I don't necessarly take his side on this thread, but be fair to a very intelligent person. Edited by Pressie, : No reason given.

blue writes: If you were omniscient and knew exactly where and when that computer will kill somebody one day; yet you still go ahead and create that computer and the future victim of the murder, too, you sure are to blame for it. If I created a computer that was able to think freely. Then during the computer's existence it chose to kill somebody, would that be my fault? Why would it be my fault even if I knew it could kill somebody? Edited by Pressie, : Changed sentence

blue, it's not pointless. Remember other people read here, too.
Back in those days when I still thought I talked to Jesus and that he talked back to me, people with very similar arguments as yours convinced me to start seriously questioning my faith. Today I'm an atheist (someone described me as a radical atheist; I'm quite proud of it ). Just read your post again. It doesn't make any sense. Keep up the good work.

If your God exists the way you describe him, he is still responsible for creating that murdering computer or robot or whatever it is.

Sorry, could you rather explain to me what you think is important in that video? Currently I'm in the middle of nowhere and reading this by way of a satellite phone. Downloading a video will cost a fortune.
By the way, I Googled The Harbinger and it seems to me as if Jonathan Cahn is quite a nut.

Not listening to others. I read the headings of the chapters in the book. Nuts.
