JC and the NT abuse the Tanach, rip it out of context, mistranslate it, en use it for purposes it was never intended for.
For instance: 1 Cor 15:3; " For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,"
And nowhere in the Tanach is it written that the messiah must die for our sins.
The NT feeds us fairy tales.
Let's take the oldest book in the Bible, the book of
Job. In this oldest book of the Tanach Job says -
" But I know that my Redeemer lives, And at the last He will stand upon the earth; And afer this body of mine is destroyed, Outside my flesh I will look on God, Whom I, even I, will look on for myself, And my eyes will see; I, and no other." (Job 19:26,27)
Notice we have here:
1.) Job expecting and after after physical life encounter with God.
2.) This God Job calls
"my Redeemer".
3.) He somehow with SEE this divine Redeemer.
4.) He will see Him standing on the earth.
5.) He will see the Redeemer and in doing so will look on God.
Don't you think many aspects of this expectation are similar to the teaching of the Son of God in the New Testament ? I certainly see prophecy here. Job will see Jesus Christ even though physical death should take his body. And Jesus the
Redeemer is God incarnate
(John 1:1).
