Re: Logical fallacies and evidence
The earliest evidence I have of creationists exhibiting this understanding comes from a 1928 paper, written by the equivalent of a creationist back then.
Interesting. So we see that creationists were as confused in 1928 as they are now. There failure to understand the theory of evolution was as bad in 1928 as it is now. Their propensity to argue against a strawman existed in 1928, just as it exists today.

Re: attempted save
I guess it would boil down to whether the creationists think broccoli, cabbage and brussel sprouts were different "kinds".
They will happily consider them the same kind, if that is what it takes to avoid their beliefs being contradicted by the evidence.

Re: Here is another example...
I get the message "phvrf.yahoo.com could not be found. Please check the name and try again." It looks as if yahoo is doing a broken redirect somewhere.

Re: I've changed my mind
I'm not following the thread here I know, but just wanted to say that I'm back and sorry if I offended anyone when I was here before.
I doubt that you offended anybody.
I am glad that you have made good use of the experience. Following up the evidence and learning from it - that's the right approach.
