Sorry losing interest, etc...
Coragyps, Some of the sediments that erupted out of the earth likely happened pre-flood, water carried pre-flood sediments, sounds like this senerio was once under water(reefs capturing preflood sands) building up the reef, in the tropical pre-flood waters, corals were believed to grow excessively fast, and this massive reef growning for up to 4,000 years before the flood, was then covered, with excessive sediments outpoured from the biblical flood, when God caused the earth to rise on the continents(hydro-plate theory), and the seas to sink, the corals which were covered by the flood sediments, possibly a mile in depth, uplifted, the caves forming along the fault lines, because of the limestone, being dissolved by sulfurous gas, the water mingled with the coral producing oil, flowing into the faults, caves, etc...
P.S. This is just a play on words, don't really know much about your reefs, sorry, just losing interest, however, this sounds like an interesting place to take a vacation, to learn a bit more about whatever, your talking about, however, I'd like to also tour an underground coal mine in the Rocky Mountains, take a mule ride down into the Grand Canyon, experience seeing Niagra Falls, take a rubber raft ride at Jackson hole and might even appreciate your massive reef, that uplifted because of the flood, but likely will just be a couch potato, my significant other has no interest in such things, etc...

JonF:
I stand corrected. I guess I should have been a bit more careful in my wording and stated that the bastardization of the terms and their meanings is a creationist ploy to differentiate the two events. That is to say that they try to separate the two events as unrelated phenomena.
I also notice that even after informing me that debating with "whatever" is a bit like pissing in the Pacific to cause a flood (you feel better when you're done, but what have you really accomplished.), you couldn't resist one more "attack". Ha, it's too much fun and way too easy to pass up.

Hhh.
Nothing specificly against you, Whatever, but this is one of my pet peeves.

That's all. Go about your business, people.
