"Bible Thumpers"!? You evolutionists are only trying to find some idiotic way to prove to yourself that you don't need to be accountable for your sins! You are afraid of what happens after death, so you explain away your guilt with theories.

Your original question asking about transitional fossils has been answered several times. Don't blame us because you don't believe the answer. I also don't see the insults you say you have been offered. People disagreeing with you or saying that your arguments are outdated or asking you to learn more about what you are claiming can't happen do NOT constitute insult.

repeat with additional comments in yellow
Funny we just had a topic a little while ago about What is your favorite example of speciation? - you should check out each one.
I will repeat try foramins - hundreds of speciation events, many complete lineages
http://www.cs.colorado.edu/...y/creation/foram_article3.html
also try pelycodus - fossil record of divergence into two species
http://www.cs.colorado.edu/~lindsay/creation/pelycodus.html
and if that is not enough, look at therapsids - transition from reptile to mammal
http://www.geocities.com/...naveral/Hangar/2437/therapsd.htm
please see the fifth from the bottom on
AiG's "Arguments we think creationists should NOT use" list
http://www.answersingenesis.org/home/area/faq/dont_use.asp
‘There are no transitional forms.’ Since there are candidates, even though they are highly dubious, it’s better to avoid possible comebacks by saying instead: ‘While Darwin predicted that the fossil record would show numerous transitional fossils, even 140 years later, all we have are a handful of disputable examples.’
In other words they admit that transitions exist and that this is a weak argument and then revert to an argument from incredulity when none other will suffice.
then read the whole thing.
... really should put together a list of transitional fossils named steve ...
Enjoy.

I don't want to pull out my alter-ego(AdminAsgara) for this suggestion. If you want to argue sin, faith, heaven and hell please use the Faith and Belief forum. This forum is concerned with the topic Evolution.

you are so right. not once have ANY of these people really answered my original question anyways. All they use is circular reasoning and insults.
First of all, you can't ask a question "are you still beating your wife?" to a man who never beat his wife in the first place and get a simple "yes" or "no" answer.
Your original question was based on grossly biased creationist view of science and evolution. So far, everyone here has been answering your questions to the best of their abilities to make you take a step away from your misinformed mind. You obviously haven't tried to understand our position at all.
By the way, it is not an insult if we inform you that you are "ignorant" of this topic. It is like telling a 6 year old that the Earth isn't flat and see him coming back at you saying you've insulted his intelligence.
No matter how much we try to tell you that evolution doesn't have purpose, someone still managed to keep asking for the reasons to why a species evolve. Perhaps other people have enough patience to deal with this, but I am having a little trouble dealing with it.

no my question wasn't answered. They gave some lame excuses, some circular reasoning, said that all species were transitional species, and said, "well i guess that all the fossils must have been destroyed". Then threw in some subliminal insults for dessert.

If the insults were subliminal how do you know they were there?

Perhaps you could sum up what we have already presented to you so that we could know that you know that we haven't answered your question(s).

And its been proven that in general, species tend to grow larger with a higher amount of qxygen present
Not that I've heard. Do you have the evidence somewhere at hand?

"grossly biased"!? I asked an honest question: where aer all the transitional species, and my question hasnt been anwered satisfactly. Saying that all species are transitional species doesnt answer my question. And sorry Asgara, but the bible thumpers crack, and Lam's self righteous way in which he talked made me mad.

Summary: They said that all species are transitional. Fossils are formed very rarely. Argued about genetics. Argued about a rat. Insulted one another. Thats about it. Oh, a few species that could be transitional species were mentioned, but not enough to prove that one specie actually evolved into another.

You don't seem to understand that a "satisfactory answer" doesn't mean "the answer I wanted to hear."
We've shown you where the transitionals are, and shown you that the reason you don't see them is because you don't know what a transitional is in the first place.
Pardon us if we're not too sympathetic to your complaints. It's obvious that learning more about the world is the farthest thing from your mind - you're too busy trying to bouy outdated dogma.
Good luck with that. You'll need it.

we've been over this before. I KNOW what a transitional is. and i dont mean "the answer i wanted to hear" you haven't provided very many facts at all. You've only shown me a few transitional species, not enough to even get you anywhere in court. Lets keep a civil tounge in our head and show me PROOF. Show me the transitional species.

What would you accept as proof of a transitional? Do you want a complete fossil record consisting of an unbroken chain of skeletons from parent to offspring extending back to the first life?
