I have been participating here for a little over a year and while the current crop of participants is excellent, there are a few people who I personally miss.
Evolution:
mister Pamboli is sorely missed.
Dr. Tazmius maximus is another.
nos482 while occassionally annoying to others did start some interesting conversations.
SLPx. He has been one of the longest participants in the EvC debates in multiple forums and knows the creationist landscape better than just about anybody. It is a true pity that he has decided to refrain from posting.
Creationists:
Tranquility Base. He was one of the best creationist debaters ever to post at EvC in terms of his demeanor and willingness to at least think about what you said rather than the typical knee jerk response most creationsts bombard us with.
Peter Borger. He was extremely arrogant and annoying but started or was involved in some of the most active and interesting threads.
who do you miss?

Non-relativistic Time
Thats what I need. I still have some time to peek at the boards but I have not had much to research, review and post intelligent replies. The new job and increased responsabilities keep me hopp'n. I will see if I can't pick a narrow area of topics and start up again soon. Hope that eveyone is having a good start to the fall.
PS. does anyone have a good link to a decent picture of Taz. I really am not fond of the moving one but hated the still pictures

It is unfortunate that SLPx has a forum "split personality". While he indeed is a powerful voice for the evolution side, he also has repeatedly shown an inability to maintain a civil bahavior, even though has pretty liberal standards.
SLPx's posting priviledges are under suspension. Judging from his past record, I can not see reason that they should be restored.

Re: SLPx
Hi Moose,
My intent with this thread was not specifically to get those with suspended priveledges back. I just wondered who people remembered in particular that are not currently active. I am pleased though that as a result Taz made a reappearance though brief.

It's been nearly a month since we've heard from Parasomnium. He's a smart guy and a fellow Dennett fan.
And I'm going through Mammuthus withdrawals. Is he in post-Oktoberfest detox?

Joe Meert is presently quite active over at my more regular haunt, the IIDB E/C forum.
Conversely, I miss Quetzal (Morpho) at IIDB...
Cheers, DT (Oolon)

Have no fear..or at least reduced shakes...Mammuthus is slowly returning from a week of eating his way through some of the finer restaurants in Manhattan and touching base with some old museum pals.
I thought I would lend some celebrity to the NY Marathon but P.Diddy and his bodyguards beat me to the punch...and it is kind of hard to run 26 miles with about 2 pounds of arroz con camarones in ones stomach.

Hey DT,
I lurk over at IIDB but you guys have usually chewed up and spit out all the creo's by the time I log in
Morpho/Quetzal should be posting again soon...or so a little bird told me
I am glad to see pangloss/SLPx posting over there...his war with Amazon.com over Safarti reviews is pretty funny. Actually reading the posted reviews of the Safarti crapology on the Amazon site is funny.
cheers,
M

Welcome back, Mammathus!
Qu gusto verte en lnea otra vez. Hope you enjoyed yourself immensely in the City of Sore Losers. For your info, Fred will be busy for the next week at the International Information Theory and Creationism expo, being held at the University of Oz.
