Googlebombing "Christian Voice"
From here:
Modulous writes:
Interestingly, Christian Voice comes up tops for a google search on 'ignorant bigots'
Also on that google.co.uk search (currently 3rd) is http://www.perfect.co.uk/2005/01/ignorant-bigots
That cite/site in turn leads to Googlejuice Request :: ivorysky, which contains:
If you have a website, please join me in starting a new Googlebomb. The target is the website of Christian Voice, the organisation who have the audacity to complain about Jerry Springer The Opera, whilst preaching their anti-gay, anti-abortion, racist message, and the link text is ignorant bigots. Once again, ignorant bigots.
Not as good as the old "weapons of mass destruction" google search, but still...

Sled dogs, poodle variety (for Yaro)
Re: here
In the not to distant past, someone ran a team of poodles in the John Beargrease sled dog race, here in northern Minnesota. Further research finds that it also has been done elsewhere.
The top link from the "John Beargrease" + poodle search

Attn Buzsaw Re: ID timespan

I was wondering what you meant also, since most IDists beleive all life was created within a short timespan and not to be a continuous process.
By bolds.
Off-topic there, and I didn't feel like starting a new topic over it.
My impression is that you are saying most IDists are YECs. This might be true, as the YECists seem to dominate creationism and that they seem to be willing to grab onto anything remotely supporting their position, but...
My impression is that IDism, as per where the attempt is best made to try to support it, falls under old Earth theistic evolution. Behe, of course, is my prime example.
I don't know for sure, but I stongly suspect that the Discovery Institute is also coming from the old Earth perspective.
You, or others, are welcome to propose a topic about this, if you feel it's worth pursuing in depth.

Just plain weird - One eyed kitten
Famous kitten to be on display in Oswego County
Updated: 4/5/2006 1:27 PM
By: News 10 Now Staff
The remains of a famous kitten will soon be in Oswego County. The kitten, named Cyclops or Cy, made international news last year when it was born with one eye and no nose.
Cy died in December, a day after being born. The kitten's owner sold the remains to John Adolfi of Granby. He wants to display them at his Lost World Museum, which opens later this year in Phoenix.
Adolfi's museum explores creationism, and he hopes the kitten will start a debate about how science and religion intersect.
