This evening as I was driving down I86 I was listening to the Mark Levin talk show. Mark was interviewing Dr. Jerome Corsi, NY Times best seller author of the Swiftboat book. Dr Jerome's new book, "The Obama Nation" just came into the bookstores today, as I understand it. Corsi's book documents much of the stuff relative to Obama that I've been posting here at EvC over the past months. The book has 600 footnotes and has been thouroughly lawyered so as to make sure there's no probability of lawsuits etc.
Scrupulously sourced with more than six hundred footnotes, THE OBAMA NATION is the result of that research. By tracing Obama's career and influences from his early years in Hawaii and Indonesia, the beginnings of his political career in Chicago, his voting record in the Illinois legislature, his religious training and his adoption of Christianity through to his recent involvement in Kenyan politics, his political advisors and fund-raising associates, and his meteoric campaign for president, Jerome Corsi shows that an Obama presidency, would, in his words, be "a repeat of the failed extremist politics that have characterized and plagued Democratic Party politics since the late 1960s. " In this stunning and comprehensive new book, the reader will learn about: Obama's extensive connections with Islam and radical politics, from his father's and stepfather's Islamic backgrounds, to his Communist and socialist mentors in Hawaii and Chicago, to his long-term and close associations with former Weather Underground heroes William Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn”associations much closer than heretofore revealed by the press Barack and wife Michelle's twenty-year-long religious affiliation with the black-liberation theology of former Trinity United Church of Christ Reverend Jeremiah Wright, whose sermons have always been steeped in a rage first expressed by Frantz Fanon, Stokely Carmichael, and Malcolm X, a rage that Corsi shows has deep meaning for Obama BUZSAW B 4 U 2 C Y BUZ SAW. The immeasurable present eternally extends the infinite past and infinitely consumes the eternal future.

Hi Phat,

best seller author of the Swiftboat book. 'Nuff said right there. That tells me Corsi is a hatchet-man for Rove and his nest of vipers.

His chances of being assassinated are too great to make me feel comfortable about voting for him. But I will anyway. McCain's chances of dying in office without being assassinated are probably just as good. These concerns are huge with respect to who becomes VP. What would happen if Obama got elected president? ”HM.

I happen to be suspicious that not everyone in America loves Barack Obama. And because I regard him as a rare mixture of features from JFK and MLK Jr.”both assassinated”I fear that those who hate him might do so with even greater ferocity. In my purely subjective opinion, I see Obama as having a greater risk of assassination than McCain. I have no way of measuring this objectively. Just a gut feeling. Maybe I worry too much for his safety; he's the best thing to come along in a good, long while.*

Maybe I shouldn't. Or maybe I should worry it about more privately. ”HM *I also worry that we are asking him to do too much too soon. Andrew Young said he wants to see Obama elected POTUS...in 2016. I tend to agree.

Sounds like an interesting read, and one that I wouldn't mind delving in to. Thanks for the critique.

'Nuff said right there. That tells me Corsi is a hatchet-man for Rove and his nest of vipers. Well, I just read a small biography of the man and can only conclude something similar. Although I am certain that much of what the book entails is true, perhaps some embarrassing idiosyncrasies, an extreme bias is also not something I am interested in. “Tu ne cede malis sed contra audentior ito"

I don't like either of the candidates, enough to either not vote at all or to opt for a third party candidate. I'm going for the Libertarian vote.
And if any of you are tired of McBama like I am, tired of the Republican and Democrat divisiveness, and hunger for a real change, you might want to consider it as well. “Tu ne cede malis sed contra audentior ito"
