And what do you do?

I run the library system for a junior college district (there goes my cover). I even have the title of 'Dean' but am probably the smallest potato college dean in the USA. At any rate it is nice to have such a highfalutin' title.I once made the mistake of telling my wife that I was essentially a professional smartass.I have degrees in Geological Engineering, Technical Communication, and, by accident + $20, Basic Science from New Mexico Tech. One of the main reasons I'm here is because I miss discussing the natural sciences as I used to do with the people at Tech.Before libraryland and the MLS, I was a newspaper reporter and before that a soldier in 'military intelligence.'Another reason I am here is I live 40 miles from where GW Bush grew up, so our tied for 2nd worst president in history (IMHO) is considered a local boy.I believe most of the population here is YEC, so I tend to vehemently disagree with their ideas about science, politics, and religion.EvC helps me keep my faith in humanity, and perhaps even keeps what little sanity I have left, considering the circumstances.
