Our hobbies

I thought it might be nice to have a thread devoted to sharing our hobbies.Post pictures, recount events, describe how you first discovered your hobby, and tell us all about it!I'll start with one of my hobbies; knitting.I'm a relatively new knitter of only a couple of years. I was taught the basics of knit and purl, cast on and bind off by a friend but am otherwise mostly self-taught with the help of books and instructional DVD's, web forum help, etc.here are a few of my FO's (Finished Objects): mohair wrapcasual man's sweater in wool/silk blend yarn

any shot i could get you to help me repair a sweater? it's a big bulky men's sweater and the arm came unconnected. i'm sure it's a simple through stitch of some kind, but i only crochet and only a little and not since like middle school.

Go to Photobucket and join.Upload your pictures there.Then you can either post them or link to them here.It is super easy and free.

Image Shack is the one I use. You don't have to join anything, although (like Photo Bucket, I imagine) you get more options if you do join.

Cool. Do you crochet? I like the extra freedom it gives; you can crochet anywhere you can get the hook in. Haven't had the time to do any since I joined this forum LOL.

my new digital is crappy and dark and i miss wittgenstein (my fm2n). i have some film layin around and winter is coming so i'll hopefully be able to do something once i finish my stupid exam. fucking comps. yeah, apparently my real hobby is this

Thanks!No, I don't crochet, except to put an edging on or to apply fringe.Doesn't mean I won't in the future though. I'm kind of obsessed with knitting at the moment.I am currently working on this project: and I'm almost finished. No picture of my version yet, but I only have to do the trim on the armholes so it should be soon!

Thanks Schraf,I also maka de photo, here's few of my faves: I've squashed them down to size to make it easier on the bandwidth, the quality suffers a bit but you get the idea.
