it says creator in the deceloration but not the constitution, and its not talking about the christian god, but the concept of a creator where does it mention the creator?, when the writers talk about creator they could be talking about the native american, muslim or any religion, it never names the creator, in fact it doesn't say god as always if its not in favor of christianity its aganst it, have you no concept of neutral things?

they where quizing people on the fact that most people when they think of "creator" they think of the christian god, its been drilled into thier head for years that it means jesus who says we are? you are dictating we are if we do not include christianity in everything so who's god is the right god? whos belief is true, whos views are right? we have to decide this for any christian beliefs to overwrite anyone elses we don't use "atheistic" moral we use reason and logic and compassion for mankind to decide our laws this is just plain unessesary i won't even answer it

it seems the rationialists were lumped togather with the anabaptists really it seems that any group that feels the burn of leaders who control religion wants to seperate it from goverment. more than likely the fathers felt it through the CoE's control over the crown and seeing a religious shift every new king or queen
While i would agree that you should atribute it to the right people, i don't really think you can, many groups believed itas for the puritans they controled england for about a century or two then got kicked out after doing crazy things
