I am not using the bible as a reference. I am trying to prove that the whole earth can be covered in water, most of it under a significant amount of water, and all life except water dwelling creatures would be wiped out.Forget the bible for this thread.*edit*
For the period of time that it is raining.Actually, if my hypothesis is correct, Noah would have been washed out to sea, and the mountains would have appeared to go under water to him, and he would have been in the part of the earth where it wasn't raining.
