I think you have to believe in certain things to believe in evolution, and you have to do the same thing to believe in creation. They both revolve around faith/belief. Creationists believe in a God, and in doing so, place their faith and trust in Him. Evolutionists don't believe in a deity or any higher power, but they do place their trust in self.

Beliefs
I believe that water is a liquid and oxygen is a gas. I believe the Earth is a close approximation of being a sphere. I believe that the sun will "rise" again tomorrow morning. I also believe in many other things.

Such are aspects of my "religion".
