I know from previous conversations that we have some comics readers on this forum. Just thought I'd give a heads-up... Will Eisner died two days ago. I read it in the NY Times this morning, and confirmed it on his official website.
For those who don't read comics, Will Eisner was the cartoonist who created the Sunday newspaper supplement "The Spirit". He was also responsible for the world's first viable textbook on creating comics art (titled "Comics and Sequential Art") and the world's first long-form self-contained comics work, "A Contract With God". He was one of the more talented and innovative cartoonists of the 20th century.
