The subjectivity of objectivity
I was listening to an audio sermon by one of my favorite apologists and he so eloquently aggrandized the secular world's viewpoint on objectivity. He goes on to make a critical analysis, and rightly so, I believe, on how the world unduly and automatically views a theologian to be the most subjective when juxtaposed by other academicians. First, listen to the sermon, its not very long, then after hearing his testimony, explain how you feel on the subject. Provide compelling reasons for how you have formulated your conclusion.
Oops, something lost

Needs work
We can't debate Ravi Zacharias (unless he signs up as a member). We can debate you. But for that, we need an actual debate topic. And your opening statement should start the debate by giving your initial position on the topic.

I was just using Ravi as a referrence for my position. Alright, I'll clean it up a bit, perhaps tomorrow.

Re: Needs work
Let me clarify the point.
If RZ were to join evcforum, and post a transcript of his sermon as a proposed new topic, it would likely be rejected as not a suitable debate topic. Generally speaking, sermons do not make for good debate proposals. Typically, they are not intended to open debates, but to close off debates.

Just go ahead close this thread, if you don't mind. I need to refine it and reword it. I'd rather start over when I have all my points in order.
