Hi, I used to frequent this site a couple of years back under the alias of "Born2Preach", and I stumbled on this site again while researching for a biopsyche class... I would really appriciate it if somebody would (re?)teach me how to use HTML to quote somebody? I'm really looking forward to posting on this site with more life experience and perhaps a more refined perspective. Edited by One_Charred_Wing, : No reason given.

Hey OCW, I remember Born2preach. How are you?
this is a shaded quote box One_Charred_Wing writes: This is a cited quote box quote: this is an open quote style
If you use the "Peek" button on the bottom right side of this post you can see how it was done. Also, when you are typing a post if you look to the left of the text box you will see the HTML On button and the dBCodes On button. These will open up new windows with code help for both html and our board dBCode. Welcome back. AdminAsgara Queen of the Universe

Your two accounts have been merged. The One_Charred_Wing information was retained in all cases except when Born2Preach provided information and One_Charred_Wing provided none, such as the signature.

Asgara already provided the quoting information, but it's also in the dBCode help link that appears to the left of the reply box. Here's a direct link to the section on quoting.

And thanks to you too
I grazed over some threads and I've seen a couple of names that ring a bell, yours being one of them. Thanks for the html.

test Edited by Tazmanius Devilus, : Disclaimer: Occasionally, owing to the deficiency of the English language, I have used he/him/his meaning he or she/him or her/his or her in order to avoid awkwardness of style. He, him, and his are not intended as exclusively masculine pronouns. They may refer to either sex or to both sexes!
