Not in Minnesota
We've been having some record low temperatures. A little earlier this month (IIRC) it hit 22 degrees F at one location. Here near the north shore of Lake Superior, I think we've only been getting down to the high 30's. Been running the heat some, which is most unusual for the heart of summer.
Friends reported briefly seeing snow fall, up in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area.

I saw the AdminNosy name in the alltopic index and thought I was going to be reprimanded for going off topic.

Added by edit: The official Duluth, MN temperature right now is -1 F. This time of the year though, it is warmer by Lake Superior (which I am). That will be lost when LS freezes over (more or less). That is still quite a ways away.
Second edit: The record high for the date is 55 F, 12 C.
The record low for the date is -20 F, -28 C.
A number of years back I was living in an old farm house in the Billings, Montanta area. Overnight low hit -40. As I was heating with wood (in short supply) my morning inside temperature wass 32 F.
The previous winter there, it hit -50 F (I'm told). I was living in a warmer house at the time - All I knew was that my car didn't have a prayer of starting (didn't have the engine heater plugged in).
We really had some wild temperature swings there. I would guess that the some winter monthly high-low extremes might have as much as 100 degrees F between them.

Another winter - aka Cold
The current homestead. Note the firewood pile at right front.
Currently about -12 F, -24 C. I presume it will be getting colder later.

ps: I hope this photo shows for all. I have it stashed at a Yahoo group.
