I'm an atheist - just to set everyone straight
My question is when someone dies what happens to their soul’s mental state?
This is the problem I’m encountering with the idea:
Lets assume your soul goes to heaven as its current intellectual level, so assuming you die as a 30 year old you go to heaven as yourself a 30 year old with your current level of life experience and beliefs. Now this is all well and good except what if you die as a 2 year old and go to heaven? Are you forever in eternity stuck as a 2 year with a 2 year olds mental capacity, after all you have no life experience and no beliefs? Can you mentally age in heaven?

I'm just shooting this one for all out there,
But assuming we go to some pre-fall state then what’s the point of free will in life if we lose everything we know and become some generic robot for god? Or have I got it all wrong
