Re: Edward Bear
Well, there was this small underground band by the curious name of The Who, I don't know if you ever heard of them. There was also a small little outfit called Fleetwood Mac. And I believe Supertramp started in the 70's. Do you have something against Carole King and James Taylor? And you have Bonnie Raitt and no Springsteen. Is that fair?

Re: Edward Bear
Ooh, The Who! Good one! Fleetwood Mac and James Taylor it is picking up on its own. Supertramp, Bonnie Raitt and Bruce Springsteen are on the list. AbE: I put Carole King and James Taylor in the 60s. --Percy Edited by Percy, : AbE.

Then you must have liked Paper Lace too
Paper Lace was a one hit wonder with "The Night Chicago Died". The other song that got some lay was "Billy Don't Be a Hero".

AbE: I put Carole King and James Taylor in the 60s. --Percy One problem with this topic, in music there is no real dividing point between 60s & 70s. Besides Carole King & James Taylor other artists straddle the period such as the The Who, Fleetwood Mac, The Rolling Stones & Led Zeppelin. All of these can be claimed by both 60s & 70s enthusiasts.
There is no better love between 2 people than mutual respect for each other WT Young, 2002 Who gave anyone the authority to call me an authority on anything. WT Young, 1969 Since Evolution is only ~90% correct it should be thrown out and replaced by Creation which has even a lower % of correctness. W T Young, 2008

Re: Edward Bear
Yeah, the old categorization problem. I settle these staddle questions by asking myself what decade the group's songs that I like come from, but James Taylor, The Who, and the Rolling Stones are a problem for me. --Percy

I can't believe that you guys missed maybe the best poet song writer of the decade, (and a lot of other decades as well), in Jim Croce, and he did it all in the first 3 years of the 70's.

Edward Bear revisited
No one's going to pick on Edward Bear? The name "Edward Bear" is taken from the "proper name" of Winnie the Pooh. How can anyone pick on Winnie the Pooh? Side note: I'm currently at a friends house in Duluth (I actually live about 15-20 miles out of town). I can look out the window and see Bob (aka "The Bob") Dylan's first home, from before the Zimmerman family moved to Hibbing, Minnesota. Moose Edited by Minnemooseus, : Dylan paragraph.
