there is more proof that the bible is true and inspired then there is to prove it false and manmade. Actually, there is no real proof of either. It is nothing more than an acceptance of these books as being inspired or not. It is nothing more than tradition that has certain people believing that the Bible is inspired.

If the post office bring you a telegram from your friend who has requested you to come out for dinner, you dont assume the post office has invited you to dinner. You know the message is from your friend so you can say "so and so has invited me to dinner"...its the same in this case...Moses could say 'God has said/God has told me' and that was perfectly legitimate, not a contradiction. Fine providing the person who transcribed and sent ther telegram didn't make any mistakes in the transcribing ie. Meet me at 764 Main St at 7PM but the transcriber wrote 467 Main St at 7AM.

you have proven my point why it is impossible to have a good and honest discussion with an unbeliever. they reject any evidence they do not like or can't refute. he isn't the only one saying that. Again I say What evidence? If you have this evidence then show it.

Do you know what evidence is? Telling me to read someone's ideas on a subject is not showing evidence. FF Bruce's views are not evidence just his beliefs. By evidence I mean something tangible. If you have tangible evidence that the Bible is authoritive and truly inspired, then show it otherwise quit condemning those of us who don't accept hearsay.

f you want evidence, then listen to it the FIRST TIME it is presented. When some legitimate evidence is shown, I 'll look at it. As for listening, how can I listen to something that was said between 2000 & 5000 years ago?

because the truth never changes. what was true 5,000 or 2,000 years ago is still the truth today regardless of what secular scientists claim or change. What truth? All you have is a bunch of stories told by men who had no knowledge of what the earth, the sun, stars, planets, weather, relation ship of life, plate tectonics, nuclear fission, disease causing microorganisms, electricity , lightning, rainbows and just about anything else. And you expect me to believe their mythological explanations as truth? Talking snakes? Global flood? Tower to heaven?

Authoritive? An emphatic YES! Try violating God's moral laws and see how well your life goes? For some, such as politicians, corporate heads & pimps, they do quite well.
